The Injection Assembly should be calibrated during install to be plumb and square with the frame. If different cartridges need to be filled (i.e. 1.0g cartridge instead of 0.5g) the following steps should be performed.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Loosen the eight (8) hex screws holding the vertical uprights to lower the Injection Assembly to within about 10mm of the tops of the empty cartridges. Only the screws on the innermost vertical upright beams should be loosened; the photo highlights two of these screws, pictured from the left-rear of the machine.
  2. Lower the top rail evenly and ensure square by shimming the innermost vertical beam against the top rail to the necessary height.
  3. Tighten the 8 screws loosened in step 1.
  4. Perform steps 2a-2d of the Machine Vision Alignment Camera Calibration procedure.
